I'm madly in love with tinsel trading co.
I could live there.
A friend took me there a few years ago.
She knows I am an absolute sucker for those lovely goods, recently she spontaneously sent me a collage kit for making creations.
{if you read my blog...thank you! your generosity knocks my socks off, you're so very thoughtful}

I thought that these were odd looking sequins...I got them out of the package...they sounded like a dolls coins...they're metal! I've never had such unusual sequins before. I'm rationing these out for a couple projects.

These are not part of the kit, they just compliment the kit. They are tiny vintage european playing cards. I thought I'd mix it up and see what sort of collage I'd come up with...

I made a small envelope out of a favorite blue cardstock, and lined it with one of the sheets of paper. For the card, I sewed various bits of paper+a vintage playing card onto one of the largest tags. Then I threaded some copper wire along the edge.

I'm dreaming up more collage projects now...
i'm in heaven -- thanks for the link!
