Saturday
on the fanciful side of mailers, pt. 2
I got some really gorgeous stamps in the mail, so I made some more boxes.
These are just the coolest designs.
I loved the row-house design, so I made 24 of them.
Details.
I tinted the lamp posts with a canary colored marker.
foil+seals...
I'm starting to develop an addiction to Washi/decorative tapes.
I have some more on the way in the mail.
I can't wait for them to arrive ;)
This stamp is not new, I've had it for a while, and have been trying to figure out something interesting to do with it.
I got the idea to do vintage globe boxes. I tinted the "water" with my copics.
these are new :):)
They matched my other earth stamps so well.
Friday
on the fanciful side of mailers, pt. 1
I'm sure all of you know that I adore the whimsical and the not so ordinary.
I got a large order of corrugated boxes for the shoppe flowers etc.
To my delight, they are uncoated. Aka. can easily take ink/stamps.
Most boxes one gets in the mail are really boring. They are.
So I went wild with these, and used nice splashy colors.
{I left room on the tops of the boxes for labels and postage, and fancy tape}
{box 1, edition of 10} :)
I've also been stamping some clasp envelopes, they're not so ornate as the boxes.
I'll have to work on some more interesting envelopes...
Some tags and twine for wrapping bundles.
I have been hoarding patterned packing tape this summer.
I finally got a roll out and started using it.
Now I wonder how I ever managed without it. :)
{the second round of boxes, edition of 15}

Thursday
a few hundred
I have a few hundred of these to make this week.
And a giveaway to prepare (for this blog...I can just feel the excitement mounting...hahahahaha :):))
And a tutorial to make for a guest post...
I am feeling as though I wish that I had 5 times as much time, and 100 times the energy.
I feel like...sleeping...for a week...

Gilding the Lilies Bouquet
Another mixed bouquet (each of them is totally one of a kind...they all have such different "personalities").
In the garden, there are many large clumps of flowers, including dozens and dozens of different lilies. I thought it would be interesting to create a bouquet with tiny imitations of those flowers.
Included in this bouquet are a number of other flowers in bloom around my home-little yellow wildflowers, tiny golden daisies, and black-eyed-susans.

Butterfly Bouquet

the bell jars+pugly pixel
This lovely feature is via Pugly Pixel (hi! :))
Some fabulous jars with some familiar looking flowers...
She composed a tutorial about these jars. I am having ideas about making some to display in the "studio". I have some tiny mustard jars I've been squirrelling away for a special project, and this would be a perfect project for them.

sage+creature comforts
This feature is from last weekend (which I discovered today),
I was admiring the paper twine and caught sight of my little creatures in the corner-I actually started.
Lovely collection-I'm fond of these colors.

Blossoms
I like the way these tags turned out...
I have been working on a number of new flowers for the shoppe, and just finished the first ones.
This style of flower was a little fussy to make, however, I really like the completed goods.
I made 9 colors of this style. I was in the mood for pinks and peachs and whites.
