Well, give or take a zillion...

I'm *finally* restocking the ruffled trim in the shop, along with adding a bunch of new colors (yay! I really love them too, I finally found a mint that is the perfect shade).

After a number of requests, I've been making some twine samplers for the shoppe.
I have another handful in progress, and will probably get those listed some time this week...

Outside of looking really cool and rather vintage, the concept of wrapping trims on wood spools is appealing since it keeps them from tangling or getting messy.
I'm in the process of making and listing tons of new trims in the gilded bee shoppe.
I have a lot of the twines done, but still have a few to finish.

I am in the mood for sparkly things lately...
I listed a bunch of tinsel garlands in the shoppe, and some tinsel twine...
I'm working on some glittered flowers too...
Those should be done quite soon...

10 things that I am doing...

It has been an odd fall so far...with a very stuffed schedule and seemingly thousands of tasks left to do...

Some things that are going on here at the lab...
1. Making things for a craft fair
2. Assembling hundreds of lovely new goods for the shoppe
3. I'm designing some lights for the "studio"
4. the studio is undergoing yet more renovation, so things are a little...odd
5. I just made a batch of granola, I should post a recipe sometime
6. Plotting things to make for Thanksgiving...
7. Hoarding things that are shiny and sparkly
8. I am making garlands
9. I am wrapping things on spools
10. Admiring yellow and orange and red leaves

Today we took a little road trip to my favorite five-and-dime store.
They have an old-fashioned candy and popcorn counter, with candies that actually do cost just pennies a piece. We always bring back candies to share...
