..some Daisies..

Photobucket

I have been working on some daisies too...

I have been going through a number of shoppe items and taking new pics (more pics)
and I'm working on deciding what to make for holiday goods.
I will probably make some sparkly things...

The Ruffled Millinery Flowers

Photobucket

I *love* vintage and repro millinery flowers.
While I cannot clone the pretties I adore, I like to catch a bit of the essence of them.
I've been working on new flowers etc. for the gilded bee shoppe
(now if I can just get them listed!).
These little ruffled cuties are one of many new styles.

Foil+Rose

Project no. 2: tinsel trading co. kit:
I had a bunch of scraps left over from making the bird-tag-card, so rather than pitch them, I turned them into petals.
I used the sheet of pink foil paper from the kit to add a few more shiny petals.
To make the center stamens, I twisted some wire and metal sequins.
To polish it off: I made a couple of leaves from textured and metallic cardstock.

Tinsel Trading Collage Kit

Photobucket

I'm madly in love with tinsel trading co.
I could live there.
A friend took me there a few years ago.
She knows I am an absolute sucker for those lovely goods, recently she spontaneously sent me a collage kit for making creations.
{if you read my blog...thank you! your generosity knocks my socks off, you're so very thoughtful}

Photobucket

I thought that these were odd looking sequins...I got them out of the package...they sounded like a dolls coins...they're metal! I've never had such unusual sequins before. I'm rationing these out for a couple projects.

Photobucket

These are not part of the kit, they just compliment the kit. They are tiny vintage european playing cards. I thought I'd mix it up and see what sort of collage I'd come up with...

Photobucket

I made a small envelope out of a favorite blue cardstock, and lined it with one of the sheets of paper. For the card, I sewed various bits of paper+a vintage playing card onto one of the largest tags. Then I threaded some copper wire along the edge.

Photobucket

I'm dreaming up more collage projects now...

The Scarlet Bouquet

This is a bouquet that I finished making this afternoon.

I hope that the bride who will carry it loves them. :)

I'm working on *lots* of new goods for the shoppe.
I've had a number of requests for samplers and kits.
I'm working on all kinds of twine samplers, and will add lots of new colors of twine as well.
I'm composing wrapping kits too.
They will include such components as glass top tins, vintage and repro trims, buttons and millinery goods, tags and clip art and stickers, mini boxes, and tiny drawstring bags etc. etc. etc.
What would you think would be interesting as a kit component?
